Joe Gibbs Driven Manual Transmission Fluid is a fully synthetic oil and is used everywhere from Watkins Glen to Daytona. Designed specifically for racing manual transmissions, MTF lowers transmission temperatures compared to using normal mineral gear oils. MTF provides the right balance of additives and viscosity to yield parasitic drag reduction and road course proven durability.

It has a viscosity rating of SAE80W meaning that compared to a traditional SAE75W-90 it will reduce drag and temperature in racing gearboxes. Its unique additive package provides excellent anti-wear protection. The MTL should not be used in synchromesh gearboxes (in that case see R Synchro 80).
