Aspen is ISO 9001quality assured and ISO 14001 environmentally certified. The rules and requirements set by the authorities are the absolute minimum environmental demands. Aspen will always try to maintain even higher environmetnal standards. Environment and quality are Aspen's guiding lights. By co-operating with leading distributors, the Fuels business area supplies sales agents throughout the EU.

Europe - Aspen's home market:
Aspen was founded in 1988 by Roland Elmäng whose background was at BP and Volvo. His know-how of alkylate petrol's superior environmental and health properties was the starting point when he started Aspen. He presented his idea for a new chainsaw fuel that was healthier for the user and had a lower environmental impact, to Husqvarna AB, one of the world's leading chainsaw manufacturers.

They immediately realised the benefits, and a long-term partnership began with Aspen in 1988. Aspen currently also works with companies such as Jonsered, Partner and Flymo.
