RCD Motorsport/FPW Racing 125 team ready for Cadwell

The RCD Motorsport / FPW Racing team will be heading across to Cadwell Park in Lincolnshore for the 9th round of the Sunoco British 125 GP Championship. Round 9 will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend and is a real favourite with the crowds and regularly tops the crowd league table over the year.

After leaving Brands both Cal and Tom have been really busy, with both riders using the break to visit Cadwell Park for a very worthwhile test session. They used the time on track to really push the bike and improve their settings for the demanding Cadwell layout while watching and learning from numerous other 125 riders who also attended the test.

Aside from the test, Tom has been keeping himself busy with a full days mountain biking in the lake district along with Enduro riding on the N. Yorkshire moors. Tom also visited Mark Roberts at Moto-Direct where he had his new KBC VR4 Carbon helmet fitted ready for Cadwell.

Cal, has been back on the podium in his time off after returning to the sport where he cut his two wheel teeth. At the Port Erin Beach Race Callan came up against MX regulars along with team mentor Neil Hodgson and FIM Enduro World Champion David Knight. Cal pushed hard and led the race initially, However the experienced “Knighter” took the lead at the end of the 1st lap and held it to the flag. Callan gave it everything and chased the “Factory KTM” rider to finish a very creditable 2nd place.
